Rock rat Laos (Laonastes aenigmamus) is a type of rodent resembling a mouse but with a face more like the tail squirrel tail, living in an isolated jungle of Laos. These mice alive at night. Initially biologists claim that they found a new species of rock rat called Laos. Skull, math playground teeth, lower jaw, and other characteristics possessed Laos mice is identical to that Diatomyidae fossil found in China, math playground Japan, and several other places in Asia. This means that both are probably the same animal. Diatomyidae are estimated to have become extinct 11 million years ago, turned out to have offspring that survive in Laos.
