When I was a kid, "thirst" was not a phrase used to describe one's desire for attention on social pixie media channels. ("Social media channels" wasn't a phrase, either.) Timothy Dalton was James Bond for some reason. And a movie trailer was a movie trailer .
I don't know what to call this latest nugget of promotion from the 007 camp, apart from a whirlwind of thirst with no known center. The deeper you get, the more teasers you find. Teasers on teasers. Teasers for days.
Seriously this is quite literally a teaser for a teaser for a poster. We haven't even mentioned a trailer yet, much less a teaser for said trailer. (And what about the movie itself? Ha... slow down, champ!)
For what it's worth, pixie Spectre 's extraordinary thirst isn't new: there was a streamed press conference last year to reveal the name of the film . And in general, the industry has embraced teaserception wholeheartedly .
