Southern lily carter University takes on Grambling State on Saturday (Nov. 29) at 1:30 p.m. for the 41st  Bayou Classic  at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, but before the football teams go head-to-head, the universities' bands competed to see who is best.
The popular Battle of the Bands and Greek show filled the Superdome with team spirit on Friday (Nov. 28) night as Southern's  Human Jukebox , led by Mr. Lawrence Jackson ,  took lily carter on Grambling's  Marching Tigers , led by Dr. Larry Pannell, with discipline and precision funk. Fraternity step-dance teams competed to stomp the Dome as well.
